Happy Halloween - Halloween History

Hallowe’en, is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31. Traditional activities include trick-or-treating, Halloween festivals, bonfires, costume parties, visiting “haunted houses”, carving jack-o-lanterns, and viewing horror films. Halloween originated from the Pagan festival Samhain, celebrated among the Celts of Ireland and Great Britain[citation needed]. Irish and Scottish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America in the nineteenth century. Other western countries embraced the holiday in the late twentieth century. Halloween is now celebrated in several parts of the western world, most commonly in Ireland, the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom and occasionally in parts of Australia and New Zealand.

XROAD GPS coming to the US

Capoint Co’s new GPS the XRoad V4050 just finished getting an FCC approval and should be on American shelves pretty soon. Capoint Co has also sold a GPS in Europe called the Takara GP43, which had came out a few months ago. The XRoad is basically the same as the Takara, so if you like the Takara, chances are you’ll like the XRoad.

The XRoad is a pretty basic GPS, sporting a 4.3-inch touch screen, SD card reader and a SiRF Star III GPS receiver. Additionally, it can play audio and video, it supports MP3, MPEG4 and JPG files. No word on the exact release nor cost, however, the Takara sold in Europe for 500 Euros, so the conversion of Read the rest of this entry »

Waco:Rules Of Engagement - Murderous US Government Executes US Children

I just saw the documentary Waco:Rules of engagement again. It shines light of the most disturbing acts against the people of the US  by the Government of the US during the Clinton administration. Its should be seen by all so that all can understand that the Government is no longer working for the people. . Our Government Killed all of these people all Americans  young and old including infant with poison gas and arson and murder by gun. We must never let this happen again and should still hold the people accountable for murder. Starting with Janet Reno.

Things that are only just now “news” were taken as a given in this shocking documentary. I fear that as the investigation proceeds, the producers of this film will be vindicated in spades.

The producers show us the Davidians, the government agents, the investigators, with all their faults and all their humanity. Nothing any reviewer can say could approach the impact of watching and listening for yourself. Pieces of evidence — Congressional testimony, 911 tapes, news footage, expert commentary, Read the rest of this entry »

Let’s Stay in a Toilet House.

How would you like to spend $50,000 to stay one night at a house that resembles, of all things, a toilet?

The world’s only toilet house, called “Haewoojae,” will be unveiled in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province Nov. 11. “Haewoojae” means “a place where one can solve one’s worries,” a euphemistic expression describing a toilet.

Sim Jae-duck, owner of the house, is giving Koreans and others an opportunity to be the first to stay there.

A stay in the toilet house will cost $50,000 for one night. The proceeds will be entrusted to the Korea Read the rest of this entry »
